People Like Us and Carl Stone will be on the same bill at London’s Cafe Oto on Wednesday 11 July 2018, Doors Open 7.30PM
Q&A 8pm, People Like Us 8.30pm, Carl Stone 9.30pm

People Like Us will be supporting Carl Stone (so be there by 8!) performing our new a/v work The Mirror. The evening will begin with a Q&A between Vicki and Carl.

The concerts are being recorded for BBC Radio 3’s “Hear and Now”.

People Like Us have revamped the DO or DIY radio stream, and as of Noon EDT on 3rd April 2013 it is now streaming Radio Boredcast!

Radio Boredcast is a 744-hour online radio project that celebrates all things SLOW.  And fast too, actually.  Crank it up to wind down and enjoy this selection of specially made radio shows by 100 different artists and some WFMU DJs too!

Carl Stone

Carl Stone is checking in from his summertime perch in Umbria. Stone was born in Los Angeles and now divides his time between California and Japan. He studied composition at the California Institute of the Arts with Morton Subotnick and James Tenney and has composed electro-acoustic music almost exclusively since 1972. His works have been performed in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Asia, Australia, South America and the Near East. In addition to his schedule of performance, composition and touring, he is on the faculty of the Information Media Technology Department, School of Information Science and Technology at Chukyo University in Japan.
