People Like Us are releasing a single on Graham Duff’s label Heaven’s Lathe. Heaven’s Lathe is dedicated to bringing out the highest quality lathe cut seven inch singles, featuring both influential artists and emerging performers in a sweep of genres. From June 2021, Heaven’s Lathe will be releasing a new limited edition single each month. Each release is a strictly limited to an edition of 100. All singles are lathe cut on either black or transparent vinyl. Heaven’s Lathe artists are curated by writer, broadcaster and DJ Graham Duff. Graham is an actor, producer and screenwriter.  He created the TV comedy shows ‘Ideal’, ’Dr. Terrible’s House of Horrible’ and ‘Hebburn’.  For radio he’s written the long running sci-fi sit-com ‘Nebulous’ and the comedy drama ‘Stereonation’.   As a script editor, he’s edited seven series of Radio 4’s Sony award winning ‘Count Arthur Strong’s Radio Show’ as well as the recent Alan Partridge movie ‘Alpha Papa’.  He’s also a part time DJ and full time music obsessive. http://www.grahamduff.co.uk

On this week’s DO or DIY Graham Duff presents a musical blend of off kilter sounds.
Graham Duff is a writer, actor and producer. He created and wrote all fifty three episodes of the BBC TV comedy drama Ideal starring Johnny Vegas. Other TV work includes co-writing Doctor Terrible’s House of Horrible, a series of Hammer horror homages with Steve Coogan. For BBC Radio 4, he’s written and appeared in three series of the sci-fi sit-com Nebulous starring Mark Gatiss, script edited seven series of Count Arthur Strong’s Radio Show and starred in his own show Stereonation. He’s also appeared in the Harry Potter films and written articles for The Guardian and Wire Magazine. Outside the world of TV and radio, Graham has collaborated with Mark E. Smith, Wire’s Colin Newman and ‘art terrorist’ Stewart Home.
