Gone, Gone Beyond New Trailer Summer 2018
As you may have seen in other posts, we are making Gone, Gone Beyond, a 360 surround sound and seamless projection piece for Recombinant Media Labs Cinechamber. It has been screened once at Recombinant Festival in 2017, this was the 40 minute version. We are now expanding the work to be an hour long and it will be available for screening (contained in Cinechamber, which is available for hire) in 2019.

People Like Us will be supporting Carl Stone (so be there by 8!) performing our new a/v work The Mirror. The evening will begin with a Q&A between Vicki and Carl.
The concerts are being recorded for BBC Radio 3’s “Hear and Now”.

Tom Comitta recently published the book Airport Novella, which he states was influenced by the People Like Us a/v piece “DrivingFlyingRisingFalling.” We can see the influence and know that our collation approach is very similar to a lot of writers, which in turn inspires us in the direction of wanting to work more with text as a primary output.
